Magnentius, 350-353. Maiorina (Bronze, 22 mm, 4.81 g, 1 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Treveri. D N MAGNEN-TIVS P F AVG Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Magnentius to right; behind bust, A. Rev. GLORIA ROMANORVM / TRP(crescent) Magnentius on horseback to right, holding shield in his left hand and thrusting spear at barbarian kneeling to left with outstretched arms in front of horse; below horse, broken spear and shield. Cf. RIC 271 (for prototype). Struck from a slightly worn reverse die, otherwise, good very fine.
